About Mosaikon

The newly built Mosaikon has just opened its doors and is welcoming you for a memorable stay in the center of Athens.

Situated in the vibrant heart of our city, Mosaikon offers very easy access to most sites of interest like the Acropolis, as well as all the more alternative, artsy neighborhoods where locals eat, drink and party. It’s simply the perfect starting point for all of your adventures.

Designed with comfort and safety in mind, our rooms are sure to elevate your traveling experience, no matter what type of traveler you are. Our dorms are small and feature modern furniture and plenty amenities, so you don’t have to give up comfort for budget. In manuscripts, the Ostomachion is described as a mathematical treatise attributed to Archimedes, also described as a puzzle similar to tangrams and was played perhaps by several persons with pieces made of bone. The word Ostomachion has as its roots in the Greek Ὀστομάχιον, which means “bone-fight”, from ὀστέον (osteon), “bone” and μάχη (mache), “fight, battle, combat”.
